So Fade In Fade Out finally goes international with a bang. One of us (Andy) is in the midst of a quarter life crisis and is going to Burning Man Festival in Black Rock, Nevada, USA. This was an ideal opertunity to spread our intense visual mashup across the pond, so we are down for a few VJ sets through out the festival week.

Yes folks… we’re BACK with a stella bill of some of the UK’s hottest up-and-coming bands and electronic beats across 2 floors with full DJ bill, live band room, plus short films in the BLP cinema. We’ve managed to secure an exclusive London date from shouty knob twiddling mancunians CATS IN PARIS, who’ll play live alongside the frantic sounds of SHOCK DEFEAT!! & HOOK AND THE TWIN, newbies THE WELCOME COMMITTEE plus a special DJ set in room 2 (hosted by TOO HIP TO BE SQUARE) from future stars DANSETTE JUNIOR + loads loads more (see full bill below). Weekend of pure bloody madness

So I think we have recovered enough to actually write a little something about the epic weekend of 27th and 28th of November 2009. First up we headed over to Fuse at Oxfords O2 academy to lay down the graphic delights for Fake Blood. He performed an awesome 2hr set of raging electro, interspersed with those ‘Faaaaaaake Blooooooood’ samples we all love (My personal favourite coming from the ‘Stuck on repeat’ remix he did for Little Boots). Lots of new footage to add to our 2010 showreel from this rather special show. Thanks to the guys at Fuse for letting us abuse the projectors there for another month.

Torrential rain meant the drive back to London at 5am at 30 mph was painful. Twelve hours later we were setting up at Fire for ‘Musiq Concrete’. Our residency ‘Best Laid Plans’ was in control of the live programing in room 2. We ran live visuals all night for Nathan fake, Vincent Oliver, Future Cop!, Dansette Junior and Plugs. We also laid down the ‘electroindierave’ noise between live sets to keep the party flowing. Thanks to everyone that bounced around like loons in our short 15 minute sets. Big thanks to Dan aswell who really did pull it off, props for programming the most successful ‘Best Laid Plans’ to date.

We are crashing onto the pebble beaches of Brighton on the 16th of October to perform at ‘LookingSound’, a 2 hr live set covering their headline DJ’s.

‘3D Beats’ is where Looking Sound create a visual audio installation using multiple projectors along side cutting edge LIVE audio acts.

We would like to thank everyone that made it down to our last event on the 11/09/09. It was again a great party with amazing visuals from RadioSam and Copyshite and audio performances from Karma, Etikut, Maxi McGoo and DirtBomb

This is a FREE entry event with artists giving you the finest selected cuts of the freshest Dubstep, Breaks, Drum and Bass and bleeps, played and scratched in sync with customized music videos and art visuals.

Our guest VJ outfit on the night will be the amazing FADE IN FADE OUT collective from London. Their approach is an intensive mash-up of stark graphic icons, shapes and deconstructed imagery. Performing from 1-3am over our headline DJ’s.
